  • Please park in the parking spaces here a 1 minute walk away on Rua Do Sol Nascente

    Please DO NOT park outside our neighbours houses or near the corner outside INYO

    • Two towels; one to sit on in the sauna, and one to dry off with at the end

    • Swimming clothes

    • Flip flops or sandals suitable to walk on the grass (if its been raining a lot, it might be a bit muddy)

    • Drinking water

    • Cosy clothes to stay warm outdoors if you are attending a workshop or an event

    • Always shower and clean your feet before entering the sauna or plunge pool

    • Always sit on a towel in the sauna

    • Please only talk quietly (and no politics in the sauna)

    • You can manage the 'löyly' (sauna steam) by slowly pouring water on the rocks with the ladle provided

    • Before creating more 'löyly', please check the comfort of the people you are sharing the sauna with

    • Before leaving and re-entering the sauna, we recommend doing so in groups to reduce the amount of steam that is lost when the door is opened many times repeatedly.

    • Please make use of the facilities and relaxation areas during your 90-minute session, and kindly begin changing and preparing to leave once your session time has ended.

  • We recommend bringing minimal personal belongings with you. We have enough wooden storage shelves available for every person in each session but these shelves are not lockable or supervised and personal items are left at your own risk.

    • Wood fired sauna

    • Plunge pool (Sometimes cold, sometimes natural depending on the session type you are booking)

    • Outdoor cold shower

    • Changing facilities

    • Dry compost toilet

  • We like something like this:

    shower > cold plunge > sauna > rest & hydrate > repeat + finishing with a plunge or cold shower before ending your session.

    But don't over think it, just enjoy whatever makes you feel good!

  • Yes! A lot of people visit us because the have a strong aversion to the cold and they always leave feeling very happy. If you would like some guidance, we recommend booking one of our introduction to contrast therapy workshops.

    • Heat, cold and specific breathing methods can be risky for people with health problems. If you are pregnant or have health problems, please seek advice from a doctor before making a booking.

    • Under 18's are not permitted to attend INYO, our workshops or events.

    • Dogs are not permitted at INYO

  • Usually only for our regular customers. But if you are interested and don’t know us yet, please send us an email and we will see if we can help.

  • Yes. All available bookings are available on our website.

    You are welcome to replace a friend who cannot make it to the session. Just let us know when you arrive.

  • No refunds are available for cancellations (or rescheduled appointments) made within 48 hours of your appointment. If you cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment, please contact us to arrange your refund.

  • No. We tried welcoming dogs in the beginning and it created tension for the owners and disrupted the other guests, especially when more than one guest brings their dog which is not easy to predict or control.
